The benefits of being able to walk independently allows toddlers the ability to be able to participate and engage in all parts of the educational environment such as moving around the classroom freely, selecting works, walking to the bathroom, and walking to the playground.

Piano:Age Group: Primary (3+)
Give your child the gift of music through piano lessons at IMA. The students will learn to read notes by understanding lines and spaces on the music staff as well as with the help of memory aids. They will also learn note values and rest values (eighth, quarter, half, dotted half and whole notes) by both counting out loud and learning to write the values on the piano score. Fingering and hand position will also be addressed. Each child will have a piano book at the lesson and assignments will be written in the individual books with dates and your child’s name.
Karate: Age group: Primary 3+
This program consists of a combination of karate, safety skills, coordination drills, and lots of fun activities that reinforce the idea that each child is smart, special, strong, and a winner. A strong emphasis is based on the development of self-esteem. We believe that if a child’s self-esteem is strong, he or she is more likely to become a happy, secure, and productive adult. Children also learn to concentrate and focus their energy constructively, which results in better school work.
Soccer: Age Group: Primary (3+)
Our soccer classes are designed to help children enjoy and love soccer. Fun is at the heart of all classes while they learn and master soccer skills. Our students will learn techniques to help gain control of the ball and give an understanding of soccer basics such as passing, dribbling, shooting and receiving balls. Sessions focus on controlling the ball using all parts of the foot, changes in direction of the ball, stops and starts to get past a defender, and correct ball striking using all surfaces of the foot. We will even practice kicking goals into the net!
Art & Drawing Class: Age Group: Primary (3+)
Program Description: Young Rembrandts drawing classes offer child-friendly and relevant subject matter to spark interest and increase knowledge retention, never losing sight that children learn best when they are engaged and entertained. Our drawing programs are based on an acclaimed, step-by-step drawing method that works together with original art curriculum developed by a team of educators and artists. Our multi-sensory approach to learning meets every child at their level.
Creative Dance and Introduction to Ballet: Age group: Primary (2.5+)
Creative dance is designed to spark imagination and creativity within the minds of young children. Every week, aspiring dancers learn the fundamentals of ballet in a fun and creative way, work on stretching to get their bodies ready for class, develop gross motor skills and coordination, work on musicality, and explore their creative minds in free dance. This class will show children how fun dance can be, while still learning skills that will help them with everyday life, such as listening, waiting for a turn and working with others. With the help of classical music, songs and games, children will become beautiful little dancers ready to fly across the stage.
